[x] You must be thirteen years or older to join this site. This is part of the Proboards TOS (Terms of Service), so you must abide by this rule.

[x] Please make sure that you register with a username and password that you will remember. Make sure that you also use your real e-mail.

[x] After you register, make sure that you change your display name to match your character’s name. (Example: admin to The Sorting Hat) We do not want to see any iluvhp or dracosgrl4eva. If you do not change your name, you will be asked to do so. Failure to do so will result in consequences. If you do not know how to change it, please seek help from the administration or another member. (I hope that anyone who joins this site knows how to do that, however.)

[x] You can have as many accounts as you want, but all of them must be active. I know that sometimes we get busy but if you know that your activity will drop drastically during various parts of the year, please do not create more characters than you can handle.

[x] All characters must have their own separate account. As said above, you can have as many accounts as you wish, but they must all have their own separate accounts. Having more than one character on the same account can be confusing, and we are trying to make things as easy and not confusing as possible.

[x] Be respectful! Respect anyone and everyone, the administration especially. Keep in mind that guests are people, too, and potential members; they deserve the same respect as an admin or member of the site.

[x] There is to be no prejudice of any kind on this site. Prejudice includes but is not limited to: race, religion, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation. Please do not bring that to this site. If you do, you will be severely warned. Prejudice will not be tolerated!

[x] Please keep in mind that this is a literate/advanced site. Posts will be no shorter than three paragraphs, but four or more are preferred. Sometimes we have our days where our brains just don’t want to work; that’s understandable. A few crappy posts are okay occasionally, but please do not make it a frequent occurrence.

[x] Posts are to be done in third-person point-of-view, past tense. If you don’t know what this is, you may want to reconsider joining this site. Advanced role-players should know what this is, and they should be able to use it and demonstrate good use of those skills.

[x] When posting, please be sure to use proper syntax. Double quotations are to be used for things said by your character. Italics are to be used for thoughts. When you are posting an OOC in your post, please be sure to specify that it is OOC by putting it in parenthesis, brackets, or put it in bold print. Just make sure we know it’s OOC.

[x] Avatars, by default, are to be no larger than 100x100 pixels in size. Signatures may not be more than 500x300 pixels. There can be no more than four avatar images in your signature if you use it and no more than five lines of text.

[x] Profanity is allowed, but keep it to a minimum. Some intimate content is allowed, but please make sure that it does not get out of hand. If you want to (and it’s encouraged!), do a fade-scene thread. This will let us know what all went on without the depth and detail. Pregnancies are allowed, but you must have admin consent. Marriage is allowed, but you must have admin consent.
